Virginia Sin, is the founder and creative director of SIN. She is a multi-disciplinary designer unbound by lines. In 2006 she received a Bachelors in Design and Advertising at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Following her work in the kitchen as a personal chef, she has worked at a series of design and advertising agencies. It was during this time she began to explore her creative inclinations by way of hand and developed The Gluttony Collection. By 2007, the collection had attracted the attention of Design Within Reach and received The Most Sustainable Design in the Modern + Design + Function Competition. In 2012, the porcelain paper plate was added to the prix fixe course at Eleven Madison Park. And in 2016, The Gluttony Collection was acquired by The New York Historical Society Museum, in their 20th and 21st century objects collection. Most recently, Virginia has been busy broadening her designs and developing a range of new products beyond ceramics, fit to cozy up every room in the home.
